Why did my second Reading or Listening part feel harder?

Reading and Listening are adaptive. Each section has two parts, and your result in part 1 decides which version of part 2 you get:

• If you get 60% or more of part 1 right, part 2 is the harder one.
• Otherwise, part 2 is the standard one.

So if part 2 felt harder, that usually means part 1 went well.

You do not need to choose anything. The right part 2 is picked automatically as soon as part 1 is submitted. Just keep answering as carefully as you can, and keep an eye on the clock, because each part has its own timer.

Your report shows your bands once the whole mock is scored, usually a couple of minutes after it ends.
