How Skorway looks, sounds and writes.
For our team, partners, teachers and press. Everything here is already on the site; this page names it so it stays the same in every email, ad and video. Use the files as they are.
Know your score before test day.
A full-length practice test for the 2026 TOEFL®, scored in minutes, with feedback that says what to fix. We sell certainty before test day, not lessons.
- Name
- Skorway: skor, the Turkish word for score, plus way, the path to it. One word, capital S. Never SkorWay, Skor Way, Scoreway or ScoreAway. Said “score-way”.
- What it is
- A practice test in the real 2026 format, with a band for every section, a score out of 120, and marked-up feedback on every Speaking and Writing answer.
- What it is not
- Not an official test, not endorsed by ETS, not a school and not a tutor marketplace. We never imply any of these.
- Domain
- skorway.com. In print and in speech, just skorway.com, without www or https.
A mark that rises to a point.
A rounded blue square with a path that climbs to a dot: the way to the score. The wordmark is Manrope ExtraBold, tracked −0.02em, with a gap of about a third of the mark's height.
- Clear space
- Half the mark's height on every side, as the dashed line shows. Nothing else enters it.
- Minimum size
- The mark 20 px (5 mm in print); the full logo 96 px wide.
Never
Rotate, outline or stretch it; recolour the mark orange, green or black; put it on a photo or a busy background; add TOEFL or any test name to it; set the wordmark in another font; or translate it. The wordmark is always Latin and always “Skorway”.
Downloads
SVG for screens and print, with the wordmark as outlines; PNG on a transparent background, 2000 px wide (mark 512 px).

One blue does the work.
Blue is for action, navy for weight, cream and white for calm. The warm orange adds warmth; the darker orange and green tell a student what needs work and what is right.
Core
Every action, link and score bar is blue. Navy gives weight to dark sections.

- #1C2B4ATest headerThe test engine's top bar only
A serif for the headline, Manrope for the number, Inter for the rest.
Three free Google Fonts, all shipped with the site. Each has one job.
Task-type names are proper names: capitalised and never translated, so Complete the Words, Listen and Repeat, Take an Interview, Write for an Academic Discussion.
Few pieces, used the same way everywhere.
An 8 px grid, content 1200 px wide, controls at least 44 px tall. White cards on cream with a faint shadow on public pages; flat cards with a 1 px line inside the app.
One primary button per view. Buttons are verbs. Black buttons belong to the test engine's irreversible steps only.
Kicker pills are warm; band chips are blue; status chips use the feedback colours.
Blue fill = band ÷ 6, orange tick = the target, grey track. The same bar from emails to the share card.
I am agree → I agree that a quiet place helps.
Errors are marked in orange and the correction shown in green. Never red text for a mistake.
- Radius
- 8 for chips, 10 for buttons and inputs, 16 to 24 for cards, 28 for the hero photo, round for pills and avatars.
- Elevation
- Shadows only on what floats or sits on cream: the hero report card, dialogs, public-page cards. Inside the app, a 1 px line.
Plain, specific, on your side.
We talk to one student, in the second person, in short sentences, about their own numbers. We never hype, never guilt and never invent a figure.
SayYour Speaking band is 3.5. Take an Interview cost you the most. Three practice answers a day for two weeks usually moves it half a band.

- Numbers only when real
- No “thousands of students” before there are. A figure we publish is one we can show.
- Name the fix, not the feeling
- “Finish your concession” beats “great effort”.
- Band, not score
- Our results are bands or practice bands. ETS's results are official scores.
- Headlines and buttons
- Headlines are sentences with a full stop. Buttons are verbs: Take the free mock, Get a pass, See the report.
- British spelling
- Practise (verb) and practice (noun), centre, colour, programme, organise.
- Our own voice
- Guides speak as people who know the test. No “according to sources”; one or two direct links to ETS where a fact rests on them.
- Words we don't use
- Revolutionary, unlock, seamless, cutting-edge, game-changer, journey, delve, boost your score overnight.
- Prices
- Always say what ends and what renews. Nothing renews.
TOEFL® is theirs. We say so every time.
We are independent of the test maker. Every piece we publish makes that plain.
TOEFL® is a registered trademark of ETS. Skorway is not endorsed or approved by ETS.
- Where the notice goes
- Every page footer, every email, every ad, every video end card and every PDF report.
- Writing the name
- TOEFL® with the symbol on first use in any piece; TOEFL iBT® where that form is used. Never “Toefl”.
- Where the name may go
- Page titles, URL paths and body text. Never in our name, logo, domain, app name or social handles.
- Our results
- Practice bands or Skorway bands, never “TOEFL scores”. Reports say they are not official scores.
- Our items
- Written by our team to the public format. We never reproduce ETS questions, screens or interface art.
- Other brands
- Competitors and other tests are named only where we compare, with a source for each claim.
Real people, and the product itself.
Photography shows people studying as they really do. The rest of the time, the product is the picture.
- People
- Real photography in marketing, on the site, in ads and in videos: licensed stock or our own shoots, natural light, real rooms. Never AI-generated people.
- The product
- The score card, the marked answer, the band bar, the test screens. Real interface at real scale, on white, cream or navy.
- Speakers in the test
- One portrait per voice, full body, facing right, on white, shown while that voice speaks.
- Avoid
- Graduation caps, trophies, mascots, emoji, stock grins at the camera, anything that imitates ETS's test interface.
- Icons
- Lucide (lucide.dev) only: one line set, 2 px stroke on a 24 px grid, rounded caps. 16 to 18 px beside text, 20 to 24 px on their own. No filled or duotone icons, and no flags for languages.
- Captions and alt text
- Every photo has alt text that says what it shows; every video has captions.
One idea, shown on screen in seconds.
The promo film runs 52 seconds: the question, the test, the report, the free mock. Everything else follows the same pattern.
- Formats
- 16:9 for the site and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
- Hook
- A question or a number in the first two seconds; the product on screen by second eight.
- Voice and music
- One clear narrator. Music sits under the voice, never over it, and ends on the logo.
- Captions
- Always available; burned in for social, where most people watch muted.
- End card
- Navy ground, the logo, the tagline, “Take the free mock”, skorway.com and the ETS notice.
- Test audio
- North American, British, Australian and Canadian voices, as in the 2026 test. Each speaker keeps one voice throughout.
- Social posts
- One idea per post, on blue or navy, a headline under 12 words, the ETS line in small print, at most three hashtags.
- No urgency
- No countdown timers, no “last chance”. The test date is pressure enough.
